February Faves

So I've never done a post like this before, but I felt like it was about time. Currently, I'm taking a costume class where I'm supposed to be making costumes for the shows, but we don't have that many to make this semester. Because of that, we're basically designing our own costume class where we work on skills we want to learn. I'm really excited because I'll probably start making my own clothes! I hope I can start showing some simple DIY projects throughout the semester.
Moving on to what this post is actually about. I am loving my tinted moisturizer. I have really low maintenance skin, so I don't need much more than that year round. I'm currently using e.l.f.'s tinted moisturizer in fair. It doesn't look that big, but it's lasted me a good 3 or 4 months. My Walgreens carries e.l.f., but I know Target does too if you want to try it yourself and don't feel like paying for shipping. After this, I'm probably going to switch to a BB cream, and I'll let you know how I feel about that.

At Christmas, I got this NYX matte lipstick in Bloody Mary. I love it! I'm definitely going to get more from this line in the future. It's not drying at all (I usually wear a balm underneath my lipstick though). It lasts through eating all day. It takes a little effort to get it completely off at the end of the day, but it's not that bad. It's the perfect true red shade for me, and at a great price point, I won't be getting any other lipstick for a while.

Also, for keeping lips moist in the cold, I have been living off EOS lip balm. My favorite of the ones I've tried is honeysuckle. It also happens to be my girlfriend's favorite too! I wear it under a lipstick or by itself, and I usually don't feel like I need to apply it again until the mid afternoon. If you get a pack of 5 at Costco, I'm pretty sure it works out to $2-3 each. And each one lasts a LONG time. Another lip balm I've been liking is the Sally Hansen tinted lip balms. They have pretty decent color that lasts as long as you don't eat it off. I've mostly been getting these because they seem to be constantly on manager's specials at Walgreens for $2.50. For winter, I've been liking the Blackberry Honey color. It's a decent brownish red on. If you follow me on Instagram, you've already seen it!

I am also adoring a thrift store find of mine. It started out a 13/14 which I am obviously not. It had these puffy sleeves that had to go. Afterwards, it was still a little big, so I put in a couple darts. I love the length of the skirt. I can actually not worry about my butt randomly hanging out during the day. I feel like I can wear it any time of year with a sweater over top in the winter and some sandals in the summer. You will probably see this dress on me pretty soon considering what the weather's like now in Georgia.

What are some things you guys are loving this February or winter?
